Perfect Sleeper® SmartSurface™ Elite is the top of the Perfect Sleeper® collection. It features the same innerspring and edge support as SmartSurface™ series. The upgrade is the Serta’s exclusive SmartSurface™ with MicroSupport® gel, which combines three technologies for enhanced cooling comfort and support right at the sleep surface and also gel infused latex layer - MicroSupport® Gel in Latex.
SmartSurface™ models come in several softness options: Firm, Plush, Pillow Top these will vary in type and thickness of the comfort layers.
Some retailers have their "exclusive" collections with minor modification in type and thickness of padding layers. When comparing models always focus on coil type and coil amount, and also presence and thickness of premium materials - memory foam, gel foam, latex. Many retailers will have different names for the same mattress in this line, so you need to focus on an actual line not a single product.
