It is owned by Sears Holdings Corporation together with Kmart. As of 2012, it is the fourth-largest U.S. department store company by retail sales and is the 12th-largest retailer in the United States leading its competitor Macy's in 2013 in terms of revenue. At January 28, 2012, Sears Domestic operations consisted of 867 broadline stores, of which 834 are full-line stores located across all 50 states.
