Ortho Doctor Preferred is a private label, house brand of innerspring mattresses made for and sold exclusively at Ortho Mattress stores in Southern California. It features inter-connected offset coils (782 queen) and 10 years non-prorated warranty.

There are several softness options available: firm, luxury firm, plush, pillow top and possibly others. There are also differences in premium materials between different models - some feature memory foam and some latex.

There is premium line in Doctor Preferred Collection that uses individually pocketed coils (980 queen) the same as in Summerhill & Bishop Collection.
