Simmons Co. said it's selling Sleep Country USA to The Sleep Train Inc. for $55 million.
Officials at Atlanta-based Simmons said they expect the sale of Kent-based Sleep Country to close next month. Sleep Country USA was founded in 1991 and has 55 stores in Washington and Oregon. Sleep Train is based in Sacramento, Calif., and operates 131 stores.
